Our Business
Joanna Jenkins, the owner started Elite Equine Designs over 5 years ago to simplify life raising 3 young children.
The company started as a stay at home career choice. Most of the initial customers were horse related business owners looking for similar solutions that we had utilized through owning a Riding School. This sharing of information and branding developed the client base which then quickly expanded to Construction, Tire Stores, Power Washing, Non-Profits, Veterinarians, Farriers and Homes for the Mentally Challenged.
Although the businesses are all unique the goals remain the same. Make the books simple and easy to understand, so we can focus on getting new customers and performing our best for our current Clients.
Who We Are
Joanna Jenkins was born and raised in Richmond, VA before moving to Powhatan to raise a family and enjoy her horses at home. She currently owns 3 horses and 2 miniature donkeys.
She worked in the corporate world for numerous years as a Systems Analyst for a large medical practice before purchasing a Riding School. Many years were spent teaching lessons and rehabilitating rescue horses before the decision was made to sell the business and work from home. She and her husband continue to co-own a Footing company also located in Powhatan.
She shares over 10 years of experience in all phases of small business ownership and continued technical training.
